HAMSADHWANI

Hamsadhwani is a carnatic classical raga, an audava raga by nature, it is said to be the Janya raga of shankarabharana. Hamsadhwani is also present in the hindusthani classical style and used very prominently. It is supposed to be as sweet as the sound of the swan (hamsa). Many devotional songs are set to hamsadhwani, It is also a favorite raga for the film music composers all over India. There are quite a few melody tracks in the kannada film music based on raga hamsadhwani.

Few of the well known compositions set to Hamsadhwani are listed below:

1. A subtle comedy track "Innu Guarantee" from the movie 'Nanjundi Kalyana'

2. One more comedy track "Meenakshi Ninna" from the superhit 'Ranadheera'

3. Devotional track "Nee Namma Geluvaagi Baa" from 'Shabarimale Swamy Ayyappa'

These are few to name, hope you all enjoy the posts
